Why this plan starts differently

This assessment scores those habits and shows you, plainly, where yours stand.

How settled a day feels, and the number a cuff shows, both sit beside a short list of ordinary habits: how much salt arrives in the basket, whether fruit, vegetables and beans are on the plate, whether you walked, how you slept, how the evening ended, and where alcohol and caffeine land in the day. Each of those is associated in research with blood pressure, and every one of them is something you can log.

It reads your habits, never your blood pressure.

  • A score out of 100: Across salt and the plate, everyday inputs, movement, and sleep and wind-down — so you can see which one to start with.
  • Your two weakest areas: Named specifically, in order, with what tends to move each one first.
  • Something to measure against: Retake it later and compare. If a change worked for you, you will see it in the habits number — the only number this scores.

Why habits, and why a score

Blood pressure is one of the few things in health with no feeling attached to it: a number shows up at a check-up or on a pharmacy machine, and the ordinary response is to worry about it and change nothing, because nobody said what to change.

The habits research associates with it are not exotic. Salt — most of which arrives in bread, sauces, cured meats and ready meals rather than from a shaker. Potassium-rich food: fruit, vegetables, beans and lentils. Walking. Sleep. How the evening ends. Where alcohol and caffeine land in the day. Whether you smoke.

None of those needs a device, and all of them can be logged. A home cuff is optional: if you own one, the programme includes a calm routine for taking readings the same way each time so a clinician can use them. It never reads or interprets one.

This assessment scores those habits, names your two weakest, and then compares your own logged days against each other. Whether it works for you is a question your own record answers, alongside whatever your clinician measures.

This is for you if

A check-up, a pharmacy machine or a home cuff has shown a number that was higher than you expected, and nobody has said what to actually do about it day to day.

You have been told to keep an eye on it, and keeping an eye on it has so far meant worrying about it.

Most of what you eat comes out of a packet, and you suspect the salt is in there somewhere.

The evenings are where the day winds tightest, and the wind-down is a drink and a screen.

You are already being treated and want the habits around the treatment to be pulling in the same direction.

If you are already being treated for high blood pressure, keep following your clinician's advice exactly as given — this sits beside it and never replaces it. If you have chest pain, a sudden severe headache, confusion, weakness on one side, a sudden change in your vision, or a home reading of 180/120 or higher with any symptom, seek emergency care now rather than taking a quiz.

What this is not

  • This is not treatment for high blood pressure and it is not a substitute for it.
  • It is not a blood pressure reading. There is no cuff, no number, and no interpretation of any number you take yourself.
  • It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
  • It rates how at ease each day felt, which is your own experience and nothing more.
  • If you are already under treatment, your clinician leads — nothing here changes what you were told to do.

Questions

Do I need a blood pressure cuff?

No. Nothing here needs a device, and the daily rating is how at ease the day felt. If you already own a cuff, the programme includes a calm routine for taking readings to bring to your clinician — it never interprets them.

Is this treatment for high blood pressure?

No. It is a habits programme. If you are being treated, keep following your clinician's advice exactly as given; these habits sit beside it, never instead of it.

Will it tell me what my readings mean?

No, and it is designed not to. A number needs a clinician who knows you. What this does is help you keep readings tidy and consistent so that conversation is a better one.

How long does the assessment take?

Eighteen questions, one tap each, and you see the score straight away. No account, and no email needed to see it.

What happens to my answers?

They produce your score and personalise the programme. They are never sent to any advertising platform.
